This PYRATEX® cosmetic IV fabric is made of Tencel®, a fiber based on algae and elastane. It has an antioxidant capacity that eliminates free radicals and protects the wearer's skin.

Tencel®:

It is an FSC® or PEFCTM certified renewable wood-based fibre, sustainably produced without chemical fertilisers. The fibres are compostable, fully biodegradable below ground and in marine conditions.

Seaweed fibre:

It is pure and rich in essential substances such as vitamins, trace elements, amino acids and minerals. The natural moisture level of the skin allows an active exchange of these substances, activating cell regeneration, which in turn can help relieve skin diseases, reduce inflammation and soothe itching. The positive properties of the algae are permanently retained within the final fibre, even after multiple washing cycles.

Harvest:

Seaweed is harvested from Iceland's sparsely populated fjords in a gentle, selective and sustainable process that removes only the part of the plant that is capable of regenerating.

Process: 

Seaweed fibre is carbon neutral, produced without chemicals, using energy and resource-saving methods. The seaweed is washed, dried, carefully ground and added to the NMMO wood cellulose solution.
