This PYRATEX® upcycled Vfabric is made from organic cotton, blended with GRS certified recycled cotton, which originates from post-industrial textile cotton waste.

Textile waste fibres and fabric waste are collected from productions all over the world. One kilo of our recycled of virgin cotton needs around 13,000 litres of water during cultivation, processing and dyeing. One kilo of our recycled cotton needs 0 litres: it is not grown, processed or dyed.

The fibres are recycled mechanically and the yarn is spun in Spain, a process in which 50% of the energy used is solar. It is not a chemical recycling process, and there is no pulp involved: the fibre is, and remains, only cotton.
